    Default New Locking Nuts

Went to vauxhall today and got some new locking wheel nuts as mine have had it.I told him probs with mine and he gaxe me a new design one which is like a star shape key on them, a loy better than old ones, but and there is a but. They do not have the black covers on the like old ones and so to me they stand out from the other wheel nuts as they have covers on them.Only solution would be to go get a set like I had but really do not want another set of those ones to be honest.Anyone elso got this type new and whats your views

The locking nuts have never had covers availablke for them, due to the recessed design. There's not enough meat for it to grasp onto.

Don't wish to sidetrack, however......... on a similar note.

i'm shortly going to be putting McGard Ultra locking wheel nuts onto my car.

Are there covers available to buy for these ?

The Omega has the same locking wheelnuts as the Vx ones on the Vec (with the crude spinning collar on it) and the Omega does have covers for all 5 nuts on each wheel, with the 5th one being round inside. Maybe could order an Omega nut cover and try it?
