    Unhappy Disappointed

Treated the motor this week or so i thought by getting some dodo juice supernatural. Been wanting this for ages so finally splashed out after finding some on ebay at a reduced price. I guess when you shell out alot more than you usually would would you expect the results to be spectacular so in that respect i'm feeling a bit let down The car looks really clean but after applying 2 coats of sn it just doesn't have the depth i was looking for. Purple haze makes the car a rich deep blue but sn just doesn't come close in this respect i'm affraid. Don't get me wrong its a doddle to use and gives a good finish but for £75 i was after a bit more, anyone else found this to be the case?

Jeez, my wallet won't let go of my pocket for anything over £30.

I don,t think there is all that much difference between a £30 wax and a £75 was. Well I don,t think we coild tell which one was the most expensive. I spent £15 on a panel pot of Supernatural. I be honest it did look good on my Star Silver. But No better than some of the other " cheaper" wax,s I have used. I would spend £75 on some wax, if it gave me the "finish" I was looking for.

That was exactly my thinking Ed. Ive had 3 of their £30 odd waxes and was impressed with all of them so you'd think sn priced at 3 times that (it should have been £95) would blow them away but it doesn't. I'll see how it looks after another couple of layers, maybe i need a machine polish to really get the results i'm after?

I have some Dodo "Banana" and I bet most of us could not tell that apart from the supernatural. I know I couldn,t. Perhaps the supernatural will last longer. I was impressed with it. But don,t think it is worth the £95 though.
I am impressed with Victoria concours wax on my motor though. I think it is about £30 or so. I am on my second pot of it.

I have recently bought some Dodo Blue Velvet and I thought it was a big dissapointment as I did I machine polish and everything and thought putting 2 coats of this syuff on would make the car look out of this world, but it didnt. I have since gone back to Collinite 915 and that has done the desired effect.
I also found that the Blue Velvet was a bit of a pain to get off and seemed to leave like greasey shadows in the paint which needed a detailer to remove.
Maybe it was me or maybe not but I will stick with Collys in future

each to their own but I like DoDo Blue Velvet.

£70 for some wax strikes me as more money than sense (no offense). For £70 I'd expect it to come with someone to do the waxing for me!
