Vehicle : Insignia 2.0T CDTi SRi Nav VX Line

    Default Time for a change

Its time for a change chaps.

I enjoyed the ownership of my Vectra 1.8 SRi for 8 months but there was just something missing. I think I went for too smaller engine. It was gutless compared to her VXR Corsa and then the Insignia came along.

I origionally went in to look at the 1.8 petrol and the 2.0 diesel but the very clever chap at the stealers had three waiting for me when I turned up on test run day.

I was briskly taken towards a beautiful white Insignia with full leather, sat nav,VXR pack, 20" alloys and it was the 2.0 Turbo 4x4 SRi .
Jesus what a car. It almost spoke to me across the forecourt "come to me daddy". I have never felt like that towards a car before.

The drive was even better than the looks and when I had finished driving all three of them there was just no contest. I would have still have bought it even if he had told me it was £100,000 but thats were the shock came.

I asked him how much for that spec and he told me that the car I had just driven was pritty special and that with all that it had on it would work out at £29645 but here comes the best bit ( unless you worry about future depreciation ) he told me that it was just coming onto the market after only 2 1/2 months and he told me that I could buy that exact car with all the trimmings for £19990 and they would give me £7250 for my 57 reg 1.8 vectra SRi.

That is a complete no brainer and even someone as stupid as me couldn't say no to that.

Moral of this story I think is there are deffinately some bargains out there just look around and good look.

I'm not saying for one minute that the other two cars I drove that day were no good, far from it, it's just that the 2.0T 4x4 was just better .

The right decision I think !!!!!!!

Thanks for the comments chaps. Only thing left to do is have the rears tinted.

Anyone got any pictures of white ones with tints? I don't quite know how much tint to go for.

Just about to have the Tracker Horizon fitted. Anyone got one of these fitted to their motor and are they worth the £239 to buy and £132 per annum subscription?
