    Default cone filter and limp mode

    Just put a k&n cone filter on my 2.2 dti, it did go alot better but then started going back into lymph mode, replaced oem panel and now everthing is fine again, I know I should really have a k&n panel filter but this was given to me to try.

    Lumph mode? What's that?

    see i thought it was "limp" but ive seen others on here spell it lymh, And no i simply removed the top of the air box and panel, so it goes;

    Cone >> MAF >> turbo

    Just seemed strange it was only when i gave it some right foot. came on about 3500k normaly my car revs really well for a diesel and still pulls to 4500k

    update, I tried d/c power for 30 minutes and letting the ecu resetting itself, its alot more stable now and only cuts out if the engine has been laboured i.e. trying to accelerate from 30mph in 5th gear. gonna give all the vacuum pipes and boost pipes a good going over, think i still want a k and n pannel as i like the added power but the noise sounds gay (still not used to diesels) lol.
