    Default Tyre Pressure advice!

We are off on a 300 miles+ trip on Monday to Gatwick and the car will be full and have 4 suitcases in the boot so im conscious to get the tyre pressure right, i normally fill to 32 PSI, do i stick with that or make any changes this time given the heavy load? (120-8v)

    Thanks

    Steve

Have you got a handbook - page 300 onwards. Higher than 32 I think. And depends on your tyre size.

To be honest mate if it were me I would raise up the tyre pressures, especially given the distance you're doing.

Z19DTH I believe, I hope so I'm 120 8v too, but if I'm wrong someone will be along in a mo to correct.

However, most petrol station tpg's aren't too accurate even if they comply with the current British Standard.

Overinflate your fronts to 38 or so then deflate to 35, then rears to 46 and deflate to 42, if your on bog standard tyre sizes. That'll be as close as need be without using a UKAS calibrated master gauge.

I've been running mine of the ECO setting for a couple of thousand miles and I pick a couple of mpg up that I've dropped since stopping using Millers.
