    Default Last night.

Well as some of you know I have a 15 week old son, Isaac and a 2 year old Isobel. Both are fine thank God but what a worry. Got to work at half 9 last night to start my night shift when I get a call from my Mrs, she is hysterical!

I only left the house 15 minutes before, "ISAAC CAN'T BREATH!" she says. Well I have felt some emotions in my life but I swear that was a horrible drive home.

Upshot, ambulance called and trip to the hospital, loads of steroids and he is fine. Just sorting my little girl out and we'll be going up there to visit and hopefully get home. OH WHAT A NIGHT! Quickly makes you realise what's important, never been so scared in ALL 31 years.

Just sat with Isobel watching Peppa Pig but I just feel like crying like a big girl. Such a relief he is OK. Being a copper and see and deal with all sorts but I have never felt so helpless in all my life.

Thanks for your comments guys. Need to get some sleep at some point as I've got to work tonight!

    Robbie,

you may be a copper - but remember your still a human being - you still have feelings - members of the public may not believe it
being a copper i became so desensitised to almost all traumatic events to the stage i didnt even realise i was in the process of having a nervous breakdown .....hind sight is a wondeful thing - nothing wrong with crying like a big girls blouse in my opinion - good stuff ....let it all out then you will have a damn good sleep
