    Default Help with springs

    Hi Guys

Just wanted some info before i commit to buy these:-
    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/PI-Lowering-Sp...3A1%7C294%3A50

How easy is it to fit these springs, also is it something that a total " Car Tard " ( thats me ) could carry out with out too much pain or loss of blood, or is it something that you'd pay a " non - Car Tard " to do, such as a back street garage.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

By the way a " Car Tard " is a total car novice, i know where my fluids go, but i'm stumped when they fall out, i hope i'm not alone

get them done at a garage m8 if you have never done springs before...... the rear ones are 1 nut each side so you could make the garage bill a bit cheaper and have a go ....if you get stuck just ask on here

That How2 isnt quite right if you're just replacing the (rear) springs and not the control arms - you'd use a spring compressor (£20) and remove the spring with the control arms still in place.
