I have one of these and would recommend it.

In addition to deztroyer's comments, also, what kind of phones do you like? bar phones? flip phones? slid phones?

Nokia N95 8BG, love it!! Text, Email, Video, Browsing, Sat Nav, great MP3 player, had it for over a year now and its never let me down, buy a £2 car charger off ebay and u never need to worry about the battery life.

n96 in that case - its a brick as you say
slight slider for buttons but not a real slider phone
has gps built in with a trial version of a navigation package

and ticks all the other boxes - should be cheap as replacement n97 (slide with keyboard and 32 gb onboard memory) is due next month

    hth

Has an 8Mp camera (I'm dubious if that's actually any good on a mobile phone), not sure what else different to the C903 and not sure on it's size. The C903 really is very slim and very neat. I went from a K800 which had that sliding cover that always got caught on your pocket and made the whole thing bulkier at one end, which IIRC the K850 has also? The 903 really is a massive difference in size to the 800 due to it's slimness.
I have to agree here, who needs an 8mpx camera phone. All those pixes with no real creative ability, such as good zoom, good flash etc... if you want good photo's invest some time and money into a digital slr set up. For me 3.2mpx is more than enough for taking shots on the phone. I'm never gonna print over A4 size so why the need? Its just a selling point. Personally prefer a good music based phone. I just signed up to Vodaphone.
    300 cross network minutes
    unlimited texts
    2gb internet
New Sony Ericsson W715 phone, built in GPS, 3.2 meg Walkman with a 4gb micro card.

    £15 a month.

    SIMPLES!!!!

    Eek

Would have to be the htc magic for me!

Its got the new android o/s which makes it brilliant, based on the linux o/s and has a complete open source project dedicated to it.

If you could hold out there are some cracking new phones with android coming out at the end of the year.

    check this out

nokia n95 is a great phone, n96 maybe? or dependant on budget you could wait till the n97 comes out, touch screen for quick use or full qwerty slide out keypad for texting, emails, internet use, looks like a good phone, 5mp camera with flash too....personally i'd hang on and see what comes out over the next couple of months, should be some good phones coming out to compete with the release of the new iphone.
