I've been hit!!!

Well it finally happened....

Was reversing into a car parking space and some guy decided to reverse out with lock...!

He caught my rear bumper with his front wheel arch.. metal v plastic

Got quoted £190 at one garage and £90 at another (that he recommended)..

Quite a bit of a difference there, but the last place looks like they only do spraying and it's an older guy that does it, so I'm happy for him to do it as he was booked up till July (always a good sign).

at least its getting sorted - and they have admitted liability
if i were you i would get another quote - show him all three and go for a price in the middle and get the money upfront- then get the work completed where you want - at least then your not out of pocket

I'm happy for this place to do the work and the guy is sending me a cheque (should be here today). The garage I took it is known for being expensive but it was local and couldn't be bothered driving all over the place for quotes and the one he pointed out is also local.
