    Default can i fit traction control

    i have a 2008 vectra sri 150 bhp cdti , the car is very bad for wheel spining since i put a dtuk chip in it and the car doesnt come with traction control , is there anyway i can fit it to my car ????

    on the side of the stereo, pull out the blanking plates, if you have a blue plug in the gap the all you need will be the t/c button, and will cost about £12 from the dealers

    hi m8
    have a look behind the blanks next to the radio and if you have a socket behind it you should be able to fit one.
    but even if you fit it, its still 50/50 if it works.
    but it worth a go for a few quid.

    It won't work. All Vectra's have the same dash loom which includes the plugs for the switches but not all the systems in place.

    Vectra's had the TC removed from all models built from October 27th 2005 (excluding V6 models which had TC)

    To fit the TC, the complete ABS control unit needs to be change along with looms etc. So I would forget this idea.

    It only works on pre-facelift cars with no canbus (3 button steering wheel controls)
