Cut out looks good, what about putting an MG ZR trim around it, might need to make it a little bigger ??
Like this maybe too big though ?

good to see it fits bob. very nice to meet you and your wee lad aswell mate thanks for the comments on me car. your vec is mint too a credit to you its spotless as bainie said an exhaust trim would finish it of. but you have made a good job of cutting the hole out well done
Looks better that now , have you thought of having twins like mine ? But they are slightly larger than yours
I've got twin boxes with chrome tailpipes to fit on my 3.2 Elite and will also need to cut the trim - how easy was it do do, is the plastic hard or soft to cut?
Funny I was also thinking of something like MG Z surrounds to fit on mine as well, but the the rear trim looks too contoured for it to fit.
Cars looking good.
Colour code the lip and drop the box half inch...still looks awesome, nice job...
heres my old 1.8 LS with the rear coded..
Hi mate, the trim cuts quite easily with a stanley knife..just take your time and only make small cuts...I had to use abit of guess work when I did mine, keep offering the pipe up til you are happy ?? and I still aint happy with it, Although I do like the idea of colour coding, but due to bieng skint at the moment Ill probably just go for the mg type trim....hope this helps...let me know how you get on and dont forget some piccies...Cheers Bob...Originally Posted by 24vElite
