Can you let me know why i am getting this screen, i think its because the last time i formatted, its something to do with Partitioning ?

Can i remove it so it goes straight to the windows password screen ??

Have you recently reinstalled XP and did you tell it to do it on a new partition?

If so then you can just remove that other partition to get back to a single OS boot.

yes delete the partition when youve loaded the correct version of windows by formatting like you would a floppy drive then edit the win.ini file to remove the second install they are listed in the same order ie if you loaded into the 1st instance delete the 2nd line

Try the second one and see if it boots up. If it does you have two copies of the o/s installed.
If not, you could edit boot.ini to lose the second one.

If you don't feel confident doing this, then don't as you could render your system unbootable.

have you tried loading the 2nd version?
    to change teh win.ini
    Right click my computer
    Click Properties
    Click Advanced tab
Under startup and recovery click settings
(Theres a little dropdown box which will have the 2 titles win xp etc.)
Click Edit (this is win.ini) and delete the 2nd title one this will take it away at startup and appear normal
