confused Brake and clutch fluid change questions.

I need to do a brake fluid change as it's 2 years since the last one. Can anyone tell me how many litres of DOT4 brake fluid I need? I don't want to run out part-way through, but it would be nice not to have loads left. I will be using the trusty old Gunson Eezibleed to do the fluid change.

Also, should I bleed the clutch at the same time to change the brake fluid that it uses? It's difficult to do on my 2.2 DTi because the bleed valve is hidden under a big bunch of cables that you can't move out of the way. I don't think that Vauxhall or Haynes mention a need to change it regularly, but I'd like to change it if it's best to do so.

All advice and opinions welcome. Thanks.

Using the same kit I used 2 and a bit of the 250ml bottles to fit new calipers and give it a good flush through to change the fluid. Could've probably got away with just the two but I was making sure.

    Thanks, Duncan.

Sounds like I should be safe with one 1 litre bottle for a full flush then.

Any thoughts on bleeding the clutch as well?

As above, no need to bleed it unless you're having specific issues.

No problems with the clutch at all. Just wondered if it was best to bleed it along with the brakes so that the old brake fluid in it didn't mix in with the fresh brake fluid in the rest of the system.
