    Default Another quick tyre question

    What are KUMHO tyres like?
    Guy's,

I need to replace my tyres soon and have seen some Kumho's which may fit the bill.

Are they any good or they budget cheap tack?

    These will be 16".

    Thanks, G.

    Which model are they..??

I swear by these, but the older 712's are good, but the KU31's and above are very good indeed and put many others to shame.

We had Kumho's on our Transit Connect at work. All 4 tyres showed signs of perishing and cracking in less than 3 years.

How many miles had they covered? If it was a van I should think quite a few and about 3 years is quite good for a set of tyres.

I had a set of Kumhos on my 17" SRI alloys and they were spot on i'll be moving back to them when mine wear out

The fronts around 18,000 miles, but they were worn down to 2mm. The rears were noticably more perished and cracked approx 9 months later. They'd done around 22,000 miles when we finally presuaded the lease company to change them. The rears still had approx 5mm of tread left on them.

Not sure if I still have the photos we sent off to the lease company or not.
