    Default Bridgwater hall Manchester

Anyone familier with Manchester. I have been invited to my daughters graduation there next month. I was wondering about parking and how difficult it is to get there. I have looked on google earth and there looks like a carpark opposite, is that used for the hall. We need to be there for 9.30 in the morning. So I think it will be a bit of a busy drive up the M6 from Birmingham. I might have to set off early to miss the traffic. Anyone got any advice where to and not to park, and what is it like there. Cheers.

I don’t know about the parking Ed but what a day it will be for you & the family.
I can tell you I was in tears at both of my children’s graduations, a very emotional time for all.

    Have a good one ………………..

theres parking opposit under the station but it aint cheap and fills up very quickly.

you should have no problem finding parking i think theres five carparks within half a mile.

yeah theres loads of parking round there. Worth checking the traffic regularly as it gets very very busy in the mornings coming in off the M6 often with stationary traffic for a long time, also Oxford Road is closed till the end of next month I think which causes even more chaos in the mornings. Personally, I'd get the train to Oxford Road station and its a 2 min walk round the corner
