    Default Dodgy Temp Sensor

Having had the vectra for a few weeks I think that the temp sensor is dodgy..quite often the temp doesnt rise at all...or it rises approx 85 and then drops down again to 75 and will move up again and drop down....a couple of times the car and spanner light has come on very briefly 5-10 secs then goes off again when driving no loss off power or revs....1st car I've had that the temp moves about so much...better half hasn't noticed but hes not the one who takes care of the car ....

oh sorry 1.8 petrol its a 2003 LS....not clued up on the petrol yet...my last car was 406 2.2 hdi and I know the dpf inside out...and found a fault in the system with over injecting additive so much the car got written off....so the vectra engine bay is so different...cheers

Mine reports in oC. Normally 20 degrees above what it actually is. It showed 43 degrees last week. I know it needs doing, but its superficial really.
