    Default Angle Grinder dust rust..

I think that at some point in my cars life it has been into a body shop, although nothing showed up on searches. This is because some of the panels have tiny spots of rust, and feels slightly rough to the touch. Do you think that this can be buffed out or will I need to hunt down the culprit for a respray?

    Yours Simon M.

I bet you have "fall out", tiny bits of Iron dust from building sites or railway lines. I had this problem in a big way. You can clay them out but sometimes it just pulls the heads off and it will re bloom again, and in that case a specific fallout remover is needed. I'd just get some medium clay and give it a good going over, and if possible a good polish, then just make sure you get a good couple of coats of sealant on there. HTH
