Default Power steering heavier on some?

    Hi All

Just sold my old 2003 LS yesterday, took it to get some fuel first, first time of driving it since getting my new 04 SRI and I noticed that the steering is extrememly light on my 09 LS and heavier on my 04 SRI..Is that an SRI thing? or is it just a variation between different vectras?

    Thanks
    Pete

your ls... did it have steel wheels?
    if so.. thats normal.

i had 16" alloys on mine.. an tehn got some 17"'s... and i noticed that the steering felt heavier!

So i wouldn worry aout it!

    Hi
Thanks for you reply, My LS had alloys on it, just the standard LS ones not sure of the size, my SRI has the standard SRI alloys on it but lower profile tyres than my LS... u think that could have somthing to so with it?

    Thanks
    Pete

the LS never had alloys as standard, just 16" steelies, bigger wheels will affect the weight of the steering, plus the engine size will also make a difference

Weight on the front wheels and tyre width and make even will all affect steering effort.
