    Default Water in the footwells.....

Just bought a 53 vec estate. 73 thou miles.
Its got soaking wet carpets, esp pass side. Not loosing any water from engine , so it should'nt be the matrix. Googled it and found out about the vent under the plastic trim. It was blocked, so i've cleared it out.
Are there any other places to check for leaks.

Also, a Vauxhall tech mate has pointed out a slight going into gear problem and thinks its the dual mass......although he's never had to do one in work and is going to check it out on Monday.
Sometimes it wont go straight into gear.
    Is this a normal fault.

    Thanks for any help.....Andy

Check the water wells in front of the pollen filter, they will prob be blocked, leaves or something, clear them out and allow the water to escape

Edit: Didnt read full post, sorry yep i have had a few

N/S/F wet carpet is most likely the pollen filter drain, as you found.
