Default Bumper painting question. waterbased or 2pac?

A friend of mine seem pretty good at painting, (been doin restore pug205) he had the gear, but says my car is waterbased paint and he never used waterbased paint.

Would my bumper still have a good finish in 2pac paint? (think that what he called it) or is the finish different to waterbased paint?

Likewise. Think it means the paint is water-based as opposed to solvent based, but it is still 2k (i.e. uses a hardener).

Also VX us white primer on the bumpers. You'll be amazed at the difference in shade if using different primers.
