    Default squeaking brakes

    it sounds squeeky when driving but if I brake it stops also only seems to do it at slow speeds does it sound like pads need changed or sticky caliper wheel doesn't get hot unlike it did on me vec b I had

    oh - I'm so sick of mine doing it....

    I'm going to take the pads out and copper slip them.

    or get my garage to do it......lol

    me to people look as u pass so I have to keep appying brakes to stop it a few seconds

    my salvage one sounds like a steam train pulling into a station, really gotta get a new set of front discs.

    Are they cheap pads? I had this same problem, tried to coppaslip them but had to replace them in the end

    Have had the same problem in the past, ended up being the calipers needed stripping an a good cleaning and copper greasing up. Give it ago before you spend your £££.

    I use EBC red stuff pads, amazing stopping power and very little noise, they dont spit out as much brake dust and your alloys look cleaner for longer.

    I had a similar problem, except mine was more of a screech and was REALLY loud.

    The noise never happened when reversing, and in the end I took the wheels off to have a good look.

    A tiny little stone was sat in there. Noisy little sod, but I'm glad it was a quick fix.

    Hope yours is something as easy to remedy.
