Any one else working stupid hours?

we work 12 hour shifts, 10:00 - 22:00 days, 22:00 - 10:00 nights

Start Fri, sat, sun, mon nightshift,
off tues, wed, thurs
fri, sat sun dayshift
off monday
tues, wed, thurs nightshift,
off fri, sat, sun
mon, tues, wed, thurs dayshift
Then the good bit , fri, sat, sun, mon, tues, wed, thurs OFF, now back to start
basically in a month i work 7 days, 7 nights the rest off and annual leave to take ontop of that!!

it sounds it, can be hard going and sometimes need a few days to get back to normal but got to admit, its a great shift pattern

No way could i do that, when i go to sleep after a nightshift i hibernate.

Jeez that is horrendous mate

I work 37 hours a week 8am -4pm 5 days a week

I normally work 7am - 3:30pm 5 days a week. Only live 12 miles away from home. I just worked out that so far this month I have done 43 hours overtime. An could hit 70 - 80 hours overtime with the work I have left to do to complete my project on time by the 1st of July.

I used to have a job where i was on the road a lot. Getting up at 5am and not getting home till 8pm. Used to clock up 40000 mile a year in my favourite car so far Mondeo Zetec S TDCI. Was a lovely car. travel everywhere faster than I should have and still get 45 mpg. No idea why I got rid of it really.
