rear brake pads? sizes

hi all, hmm called one of the parts suppliers today and tried getting qutes for the rear pads but they say theres 2 sizes, the part numbers were

Mintex pads

MDB 2686

and

MDB 2281

could any one help me which rear pads i need?

If they are definately different sizes and not just old and new versions of the same size (Vx did change their rear pads half way through the Vec's life, to stop them making clunking noises) then you need the 2686 - they're the ones designed to fit the 292mm rear disks, which is what you have (3.0V6 diesel, right?).

Is that the 177 or the 185 bhp one?

Sorry mate the Mintex site keeps crashing for me. It might have something to do with solid or vented disc type, but then again I'm sure all V6's came with Vented?

its the 177 model mate yeah i think there vented
