road angels

I am looking to purhcase a road angel or something similar but really dont have clue which one to go for.

What is the general concensus on here as to which one is best??

Do these actually work very well??

This has come about due to being caught by the mobile van on the M6 at penrith today(well not 100% been done yet but pretty sure )so i think a little investment will help my future point count

I know i should be sticking to limits etc and i usually do but cause im not a big mototrway driver i find that its easy to get a little carried away without noticing

oh no steven thats just bad luck mate but it is easy to speed with the vec im the same you do get carried away lol as you say. as to the road angels cant help you there sorry

LOL very easy for us country bumpkins to speed on the motorway when your not used to it

Tbh i never seen the police yet as they were on a bridge, it was my wife that said " oh theres the police up there" my responce was WTF when i looked at the speedo

I got done in the same place doing 80mph. £60 fine and points the tw**ts.Beats going after criminals,eh?

Wont give then too much of a hard time seeing as it was my fault for being a n0b and not concentrating on my speed

I use a Road Angel Compact and it works pretty well although it seems to take a while to lock onto the satellites after you've started up. They don't have a laser alert built in but you can add one if you need to be warned of laser traps. It's really easy to update through your PC too.

Thanks for that Peter , will need to look into this in more detail i think to see whats on the market etc
