hid lamps

looking to get them converted and have being quoted 250+vat currently using some really nice bright white (cant remember make) they make it look like hid but dont give that instent start up like xenons. do they really perform the same as a gen xenon lamp?

any anvice will be very helpfull!!

have a look at hids direct on ebay - 70 - 75 quid for a set to retrofit yourself- have a look in the how2 section or do a search on hids there are plenty of people on here who have them and fitted them - much much cheaper than your quote
make sure you get a set specifically for the vectra c as they will need cancellors fitted to prevent the bulb warning light coming on the dash
