    Exclamation i need some brainy people

    my son has a 2002 corsa c 1200 sxi which has a problem i cant solve, so before i take it to the dealers or set fire to it i thought i would give u lot a try. it has a lumppy idle and wont rev past 4500 . we have cleaned out the throttle body checked the spark plugs, changed the air filter, checked the wireing, checked the rubber hoses, the egr valve was cleaned out 6 months ago.the eml is on and has a fault code 1405 any ideas many thanks

    p 1405 reads as: "P1405 DPFE Sensor Upstream Hose Off Or Plugged"

    Any good ?

    Vectra vxr custome remaps egr deletes dpf and diagnostic work all remaps are custome bench tuning avalible all genuine equipment PM for info

    LOL.

    In short,if your getting a wrong signal from your DPFE to the EGR valve then your EGR valve will be open more than it should be resulting in poor running problems.

    I wouldn't know on a Corsa,but it must look something similar to the Focus one with tubes running to and from it,and it must also connect to the EGR valve in some way.
