First (and possibly last) mod

Take one Astra/Zaffy sunglasses holder, remove the drivers side grab handle and replace with sunglasses holder.

To use the bolts from the grab handle, remove the reinforcing inserts from the sunglasses holder, snip off the ridged locating tabs as they are in a different place to the holes in the bodywork and bolt in.

Job done

might have to do a reverse mod and fit a grab handle in place of the useless pod in my zaffy

Company car, so not much I can really do with it, though will be looking at fitting a 12V socket in the boot.
Just need to clear the garage so I can empty my gear out of the boot
