    Default SAS re-calibration cost

Anyone got any rough ideas how much Vx tend to charge to re-calibrate the Steering angle sensor via the Cim.
    Cheers Pete

lol @ Plasma - good man!

What will Vx charge you? - a lot more than the 5 minutes it takes to do it! Seriously, I recalibrated chunksters SAS at a meet last year as the numpty dealers hadn't done so when they replaced the CIM! Took all of 5 minutes, if that, on my Vaux COm kit so will take the dealer the same sort of time - well it should anyway!

Looking to get mine done as I did alter the position of the Cim (only slightly) to straighten it up in relation to the dash as it were, maybe just co-incidence but sometimes it seems the indicators cancel too quickly when turning right and don't remember it doing this before I moved the Cim, mind you if sitting stationary in the car with indicators on both left and right cancel at about the same degree of angle on the steering wheel, if you see what I mean !! however just looked on Tis and it appears only vehicles with ESP (mine only has TC) can be zeroed with Tech2?

Anyone know if this is right as regards to not being able to re-calibrate/ not needing it if car only has TC and not ESP.

Ditto, and I definitely don't have ESP. I'll see if it gives me the option to calibrate the SAS.
