Pet hates about your Vectra?

What little things niggle away about your Vectra.

Mine quite simply came to light this past week. It was something I would never have realised on a glum March morning when I test drove the car but on a sunny May afternoon...

...the sun shining through the side windows reflects off the Vx badge on the steering wheel, straight into my eyes, blinding me

Is there any aftermarket black VX badges I could possibly replace the one on my steering wheel with?

I've taken to driving with one hand covering the badge when it occurs at the moment

Depends what mood I'm in, at the moment, loving everything about it - but sometimes the indicators knock off when I don't want them to and my rattly DMF is annoying too (sometimes)

My instrument cluster squeaks/creaks driving me nuts. I thought I had solved it...next job is to silicone sealant it in place.

yup, i'm with you, I often wonder what they were thinking making the badge like a mirror on the steering wheel

This annoys me too although I do like the quick flick giving the 3 flashes. I had a VW Polo as a hire car in spain and it had the best of both world, a small flick indicated 3 times but if you wanted to indicate properly it clicked into place like "normal" indicator stalks.

My car also squeeks sometimes when I change gear and it bugs me but I can only hear it if I have the window down.

My old one did this and I got the CIM replaced and it fixed it.

I love the indicators with the soft touch but sometimes it still catches me out and I do the left flash, right flash thing when trying to cancel them.

I like the indicators (not had any problems yet lol). Its water falling into the damn boot when ya open it. That is a really crap design!
