    Default Advice needed repairing damaged bumper

    Looking for some advice on repairing this, gonna give it a go myself! just wondered what to use, bodyfiller or fibreglass or something else, in the most its just gouged and scratched but near the light it's dented and cracked!

    Also what should I have on my shopping list in way of primers abrasives etc.....

    advice greatly apreciated

    I'd say a good quality filler, also you'll want some 320 and 800 grit paper, a hot air gun (something like a hairdryer but better) and your sprays, any primer will do they are all pretty much the same thing anyway (or I cann't tell the difference)
    But in all honesty mate, probably £150 for a garage to do it for you (which is what i'd do)
    If you do it yourself, you will be proud of your work but there will be little bits that will p**s you off and you'll probably end up re-doing it.
    If it was an old banger then its ok to Diy bodge, not with your baby.

    Take it to the garage mate.

    agreed mate take to a decent local garage, you would only end up thinkin i wish i had after and to be fair by time you buy all the primer and paint and laquer and labour it be better to take to a garage or try to buy a second hand bumper of ebay or scrappy then have painted

    That was my first plan! I also want to colour code the skirts and handles so thought I need to buy paint anyways!

    get the handles painted at body shop ect while he has the paint in the gun mate ,
