    Default Air Conditioning: Hot Air

    Hey Folks,

Air conny is on the blink.

A few weeks ago i noticed it was taking much longer to get cooler.
Had a trip down to Snowdon on Friday, and to my horror it isnt working at all now.

If i turn the air conny on, the air it pumps out is actually hotter than with it off.

Any suggestions? Im guessing a re-gas?

Final question: The vehicle is under Network Q warranty, would I be able to claim for the above under that warranty?

    Thanks

Best guess... system has a leak - low pressure switch has kicked in - system stops working.
Likely cause - damage to condenser - easy enough to replace yourself if you're handy with spanners.
If it's still under warranty.... couldn't hurt to ask

get it regassed and see what they say/what happens and go from there.

(seems a few A/C related issues with a bit of hot weather. Got to wonder if all these systems have been off for the winter)
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

Got the Veccy booked in for Wednesday.
Not happy over it to be honest, especially it conking out during some of the hottest weather this year!

Was that hot driving home from work today, had no choice but to pull over and take my shirt off!

go to Kwik Fit, they charge £45 and if your vent temp doesn't drop by at least 10% (because of leak etc) then it's free.

Mines under Network Q, i intend to go hairless if they dont cough up, as ive had to have quite a bit of corrective work done under warranty already.

    Wrong springs on front
Gear linkage to 1st was cack
Steering Geomotry out by 5 degrees or so
    Disc brake back plains rubbing
Excessive vibration at 60 or above

So now i have yet another to add to the list!
