Blown bulb indicator on dash.

My 'blown' bulb indicator keeps flickering on and off ,now and then ,but its been doing this for weeks.I was wondering if there was a common bulb that always gives trouble(ie bad connection) or will i have to wait until its permanent.

It's quite possible a bulb about to blow. Mine tells me which bulb it is, if yours doesn't, it's best to wait for it to come on again, then turn all the lights on and go around the car to look for the offending one. Look carefully at the rear of the car, as it'll turn another bulb on, so can make it hard to spot which one is not working at a quick glance.

It could also be a bad earth on the offending bulb. Just try giving the contacts a quick clean

mine does that to yea could be to warn you its about to blow

I had that on my old DTI, turned out to be a bad earth on the O/S headlight bulb

i had this... on and off for about a week then finally a headlight bulb gave up the ghost
