Just looking on the Vredestein website, and it says for the tyres I have for the Vectra I should be running the below PSI
Ultrac Sessanta 225/45 ZR 17 94 Y XL 42 PSI 45 PSI
Does that seem a little high?

i have 225/45/17 and i am running 32 all round mate i have bridgestones on mine
shouldnt it be more round the 35 mark
i put 32 in cold which when they warm up goes around 36 ish mate yea, only should be more if full load i think but chack the back of the hand book mate
35 cold all round
na not according to the garages round my way and i used to work in one of them
Yeah, I'm running 34 front and back at the minute, just thought I'd double check as the pressure they list on their site seems really high.
no way 40 odd, thats way to high if you ask me and if you hit a pot hole too hard you will blow the tyre as to much presure and the wall wont flex like its meant to
As some of the other posts in this thread, I am also running 32 psi all round, as specified in the handbook.
rule of thumb for tyre pressures is......
double the rim size and add 2lb..
16 x 2 = 32 + 2 = 34
17 x 2 = 34 + 2 = 36
18 x 2 = 36 + 2 = 38
19 x 2 = 38 + 2 = 40
etc etc etc....
i have 18's and they are 38lb all around....
