Kwik fit regas

Well, after finding out there was no pressure in my system, I decided to give Kwik fit a go (took me a while to decide to let them at it). I dropped it of this morning and picked it up just before lunch and my A/C is all up and running again.

They charge £45 and if they can't refill due to leaks then they wont charge. They also said if it should fail after a few weeks and I get any leak fixed they will refill FOC.

Not a bad service I thought and I got a 20% off A/C refill if I go again (although it's only valid till the end of the year and I hopefully wont need it by then so if anyone wants it give me a shout).

not a bad price, im getting mine done for £30 when my m8 gets some gas

don't use BBQ/Patio gas...

The 20% voucher would make it £36 so not bad...just my luck to get one after the fact

kwik fit did mine a short while ago...£20.00 through a friend of a friend...they did a top job and it's freezing in there now...

Well done!
But I would never ever let a Kwik-Fit depot within yards of my car. Biassed - yes just maybe, but after seeing the local (Dunfermline) shower perform on customers' cars with their hammers and air tools I wouldn't even let them near a solid steel girder.

Well I have to admit, I had the same reservations and the last 3 times have went to the Dunfermline branch and you know what, I am very impressed with their service thus far!!

I know what you mean and I think I'd only let them at the aircon as it's a pretty decent machine they use and pretty fool proof (providing they put the correct car in in the first place

)

Well glad I had it done when I did as this weekend was well hot...outside the car anyway

Just done the same at Charlie Browns, it runs a test and if it find a leak no fill and no charge, takes about 45 minutes, mine was ok. great service i thought.
