Default Question about remaoving sat nav

I've got the chance to get sat nav out and colour screen of a car being broken. What other than the unit and screen do i also need to get and is it possible to fit to a car with just the big screen ok? What do they go for and what should i try and get it for?

    thanks in advance

I'm sure someone mentioned a satnav antenna being part of the system.... and obviously the connecting cable.

piece of cake mate just get the ariel with it if you can for the sat nav, if not mate you can get them for about 12 pound of ebay, all you will need is the cd70, screen, cable to pair the 2 up and the ariel

they also go for about 350 - 450 dpends where you get it from but try to also make sure its got the navi disc in it , if not you can get latest version of ebay and i can get some instructions for you from my book

I see from your profile your car is a 52 reg.

If the satnav is a CD70, then it won't work in your car as it requires full canbus and your car is only half canbus.

You would need the earlier satnav system - the name escapes my memory at the moment.
