    Angry Help

Car keeps cutting out, can be matter of seconds or 10 to 15 min. Spanner light appears soon after start up and stays on until engine cuts out. Let car sit for a few minutes and then it will restart again but cut out again soon afterwards. New fuel pump fitted last month although symptoms are completely different. The car is a 55 plate 2.2 direct with 47k on the clock.

Cant be without a car so any advice/help will be appreciated.

It sounds like the fuel pressure regulator.

You need to get the fault code(s) read out. Guesswork can become an expensive hobby if you start changing parts that aren't causing the problem.
