Washer bottle Sensor Position

Feel a bit stupid asking. but i thought i would just to be sure.im installing a GID so i thought i should get the sensor done at the same time. is there a template on the bottle for the hole i need to drill? also which way up do i fit it? is it with the white bit at the top or the white flappy bit at the bottom?ta guys, will

It sits in sideways so that when the water level drops it flaps down and breaks the circuit mate... You can drill a hole for it wherever you like to be honest, dependn how low you want the fluid level to be before it comes on...

If you're taking it out, you could always order the larger one which holds over 5 litres of fluid - the number is in the how2 for fitting headlight washers...

When I did mine I used a 20mm wood spade drill fits perfectly. there is a flat ridge near the bottom and to the right of the washer pump. so I measured up 12mm from this and found there was a mark on the bottle (wether this was an intended mark or coincidental I don't know)
the flat bit of the sensor should be in line with this to keep it in the right orientation so that the float operates in the right direction.
