what type of modder are you?

Its occured to me that we have a few different types of people on the forum when it comes to modding that can be split up into a number of 'fun' groups....

1) theres the depreciation counters... 'you wont catch me messing with my car, what a waste of money, much better things to spend money on' type (which i think would apply to most peoples partners lol

2) Theres the 'i dont mind the odd little tweak to make it mine, an irmscher grill is perfect' type who just want that little something to make it stand out in the car park

3) Theres the Plodders, 'yep, 19's i think is where im heading, once ive persuaded the wife to let me have them. Then im going for the rmscher front splitter as an xmas pressie maybe' type, who dearly want to mod their car but have 'restrictions' so its done bit by bit. Most members probably fall into this bracket i think.

4) Then theres the Banzai mega modders 'just fitted 18's, didnt like em so sold em, bought 19's, they look better. Just bought a splitter, spoiler, new head unit which i'll fit at the weekend, then next week im buying door pins, exhaust and having a full respray' type, of which there are a noticable few in our ranks lol

I was in group 1 until I came across this site, now firmly entrenched in group 3

I think im in between 2 & 3.....just want to do subtle things..until I get something in my head then its got to be done...

I am in group 1 I do such high mileage I can't justify changing the car.....****!!

LOL, thats me too. If i think the consequences are worth suffering, i'll order it and pray im right lol

I'm group 2 probably. My car came with 19s and chrome handles and at the mo I've only added an Irmscher grill. I seriously leaning towards an Irmy rear spoiler though!

I prefer the subtle look, but the mega modders can look great if done right. (Ian C and Armoured Farmer spring to mind!!!!!)

I'm also leaning heavily in favour of a black Signum with ful Irmy mods.

Group 1 for me, with the occasional dip into Group 2, once a year.

In the GSi household I fall into group 3 and Mark is in group 2, but that is because he can not look to modded in the customers carpark.
