Default how do i fit without melting or killing?!?!?

hey people a friend gave me some spare headlight strobes last week and wanted to fit them but having taken them out of packet and had a close look at thier **** **** fitting instructions i cant make sense of it!?!?!

They reckon that the wire should be connected directly to a 12volt supply but if i connect straight to battery then im more than sure the hairline wire will A. melt and B. set fire to me or car

i dont want to chop into the sidelight wire but may have too unless other suggestions?!?!?!

will the sidelights be powerfulll enough to run 12v strobes and if so whats the best way to chop and rob power........connector blocks?!?!?!

    please help me out

    much appreciated

P.S i already know the legality issues with these and how they are for off road and show use only and i can assure you all thats what they will be used for! never in public!

Are you putting a switch inside the car or under the bonnet?

not sure yet probrably under the bonnet so they wont be activated accidentally, but not that im clever enough to find where to thread the switch through bulkhead anyway haha

If your putting it inside the car on the back of the cig lighter there is a 12v spade socket attached that where i took a feed for the headunit bud saves chopping wires hope this helps you out bud.

Through a rubber grommit. Just use a coat hanger to poke a hole though, attach the wire and catch it inside the car.
