    Default version check

    hi guys, i was just wondering, as you all know there are differant engine versions in the cdti vectra, is their a way i can check what particular engine is in mine? i know when i put the reg into the isurance it shows 150 and the dealer sais its 150 but i didnt know if their was a way to check externally?

    Open bonet if the Oil clap is on the bottom left near the front of the engine its a 120

    If the Ti (from CDTi) on the back of your car is red, then it's a 150.

    Also look on drivers side of engine for a label - Z19DTH is the 150.

    The engine oil filler cap is the only sure fire way though, as V5's and the red lettering at the back have been known to be wrong...

    yeh its got the red lettering i will check the engine oil cap wen i go back down.! im sure its the right one i just wanna make sure!

    hi twaiter,this is the same post as i put out as well,i wanted to make sure i got the 150,the above replys are correct as u look at the engine the oil filler cap should be on right hand side.one lad who did reply to my post even put pics of the 120 and 150 and said mine should be like that with a pic next to it.theres a garage next to me selling a 150 in the advert but its a 120 coz my brother looked at hit so i told him what to look for plus it dont have the red ti on boot

    thats really good so if it has the oil cap on the left its the 120.
    i dont think it did but i will double check!
