    Default VXR Tailpipes

    Do I or don't I?

I have access to a pair of new VXR bolt on Tail trims. Do I fit them and will they look OK?

I can have my 3.0 Rear Silencer's modified to the proper VXR pipe diameter to allow the new VXR tail trims to be fitted as per the factory.

    Opinions welcome!

As long as they will fit mate then do it you won't regret it.

I bought a pair hoping to bolt them on but I would have had to do some welding so went and bought the whole kit instead

I dunno! I like the idea of the standard pipes and the 1.9 CDTi badge as it confuses the hell out of people who have other 1.9 CDTi's witha single pipe and mine looks totally factory.

I might leave it as it is, I am going fro a quote this morning to see what it would cost to have the original tailpipes removed and the box assembly modified with the correct mounting pipe.

My opinion is to not put the VXR's on - (hiding behind a couch) but I think they should be on a VXR and only a VXR
