Fuel prices

I see fuel is on the UP again. Twice this week it has gone up at our local asda. They are no longer cheaper than a Shell garage I know. Someone is making Mugs out of us motorists. But in the end all prices are affected, due to a greed we have No control over.

I think it's more to do with the current 'strength' of the pound.

Yeah, just noticed last night BP ultimate has gone up about 5p a litre since I last filled up.

only 2p diff in price between diesel & petrol now...I can understand diesel demand going down, why is unleaded going up ? & up..

But when the pound is weak. It still goes up.

I know that is why I brought it to mind. As I see NO need for the high price other than greed somewhere along the line.

Well I work in plant hire and the price for red diesel at the moment is just under 40ppl and its gone down a couple of pence from the last time I order some a couple of weeks ago!!
