    Has anyone sucessfully painted mudflaps that have been on the car for a while or are used. What did you use?? Cheers

    sure a few chaps on here have mate...i just bought front and rear brand new ones form dealers to get painted...less hassle for the painter stripping all the silicone off etc...

    much cheapness 11quid odd a set

    Problem is i already have flaps on the car, i may just try to paint them, failing that buy some new ones

    Use the ones you have John ..as long as you give them a good rub down and clean there will be no problems ....i just repainted my old side skirts for Bert and they came up ok ...couple of reactions with the paint but i think that was silicon spray i was using on my car

    Put your ones on the moulded ones, made my own rubber ones to go inside as it stops the inside face of them getting chipped.


    It also keeps more muck of the lower side panels of the car

    clean the old ones with a degreaser, after you have rubbed them downto make sure all the dirt has been remover, the primer and repaint
