    Default passenger window switches

Anyone know if the electric window switch assembly on the passengers side can be removed/ prised out without taking the door card off?
    Cheers Pete

thanks mate, pretty much what happened to mine, exercised the switch and seems to work albeit slightly intermittent, but will try and get it out and do what you did with the switch cleaner, strange how that side packed up whereas the drivers side bank are fine, I guess due to it getting more use.

Mine is the same. Although looks like some one has had to do this previously and butchered the switch. But its added to the list of things to do.

I saw this thread 10mins agi and have literally gone outside and whipped it out the car! so now got the switch to pop out the "faceplate", can i strip it further without breaking it? I've caked it in switch cleaner thus far...

Just wanted to clear something up; was it definatly the passenger side switch assembly that you removed without taking door card off? as just looking on TIS and it states that the door card needs to be removed when removing passenger side switches but drivers side can be just prised out!!

Yup - just physically done it myself for the first time too. Be gentle so you don't mark it though.
