Where do I start with this car. Holden Vectra ZC

It has been a dog since I got it.
Now I have no sound of the indicators operating (clicking sound) no alarm sounds when you for example leave the headlights on.

any Ideas as to where the sound device is so I can see if it is connected.

Some times the whole control panel just goes mad, all lights flash, intruments go dead. Comes right then does not do it again for a very long time. This times it has been several momths.

Some times I thnk there is a loose plug or conenctor somewhere as it seems that there is a connecton with a bump in the road. It does it once then it ios ok for some time. Currently it has not done it for a couple of months.

Cruise control is not working (yet to try the ideas given here).

Brake pads indicator id up on the control panel but all the brake pads and the sensors are ok.

There has been a string of other things some of which has been fixed and some I have not mentioned. There has been a long history of problems with the car and I am not impressed.

has any one any ideas on any of the above current issues?

Where is he computer modules so I can check all the plugs and sockets in and out.

The sound of the indicators I thought came from the relay ticking

I had strange electrical display problems on the cluster and it was the CIM module under the steering wheel.

sounds like tha cim module behind the steering wheel, has had enough, probably needs tech 2ing to double check, dealers here charge about £300 for a new one reprogrammed

Thanks guys for the adice. I will have a look at the weekend to see wha I can find. Too dark here after work these days.

I am sure the indicator audiable indication is via an electronic type speaker. The indicators work ok but is is just that you never know if you have pushed the indicator stick enough. Also there is no audiable sound for when you leave the headlights on when you turn take the key out. there are also other audiable sound wihicj do not happen so I think it is the speaking device is not working. I have no idea where it is.
