Default Limp mode when under load

Spanner light came on Saturday(150 CDTI) and into limp mode, fuel consumption through the roof, no fault codes read and reset by AA. Since then it as come on 3 times again but noticed that it happens if I accelerate over 3000 rpm or really load the engine. Goes out of limp mode after aprox 20 miles and light eventually goes out. Checked EGR valve on Sunday looks clean. Did two trips to the airport in it (200 miles) this morning and kept revs below 2500 and speed below 80 mph - no problems.( average 55 mpg)
    Any ideas guys?

With my old DTI, it was the inlet hose that was loose - exactly the same symptoms as yours, under load and over 3000 revs. Re-fitting it more tightly fixed the problem.

Mine (1.9, 150) occasionally does that at anywhere between 3,000-3,250rpm.

Previously diagnosed (once) as split vacuum tube and replaced under warranty - on that occasion the light didn't go out when the car was re-started and it remained in limp mode until the replacement part was fitted.

It has done it since but the dealer has been unable to diagnose any fault as no code was recorded by the car; the light goes out each time the car is re-started.

I started a thread in "Troubleshooting" here last week and the answers I received indicated that a number of sensors could be at fault and should be checked. I've yet to book it in for this to be done (the car is two years old.)

Would anybody be able to post up a pic with the inlet/vacuum tubes indicated please? Might help me self-diagnose any problems, rather than just tightening any jubilee clip I can reach

Thanks for replies will check the hoses later today and try and get it to the dealers Tuesday. Are the hoses easy to get at?
