    Default electric windows

    do the windows on the vectra go up and down with the key
    by pressing and holding down open or close because mine only
    does close and i am shore it should do both ways any help please

    They do on mine. Maybe yours needs "reprograming". From the window switch in the car wind the windows down. Then wind them back up again, and then press the up button to close again. This is how you re-program them when you have disconected the battery. It might work for you, worth a try.

    cant seem to make them work they go up with the remote but not down

    Might sound daft. But you are pressing the door open button on the key fob? Press and hold, that is what I have to do.

    ED, you need to hold the open/close button for a couple of seconds after they have stopped moving as well
    Now I need a turbo to keep up!
