Ian_c has fitted a box to his 3.0 V6 CDTi - don't think it's a PBox, but he seems to be very happy with what he's got.

Hopefully he'll be along to give some more info/advice.

    Thanks Duncan

Mine came through the post today but the instructions dont say if the connectors are injector specific.

Great these CDTi's aren't they mate.

I've got a DiagnostixUK Tuning Box and (not confirmed yet) I reckon I'm pushing 180bhp from a 1.9

Ian_C has a Tunit box fitted to his V6 CDTi and he is getting a confirmed 220.7bhp and 386.3lb/ft or torque. Awesome!!!

Anyone interested in a PBox (and if you own a CDTI, then you should be) I got mine from Rossiters who were very helpfull.

As for fitting it involved (for the V6) pulling the cable connectors off the six injectors and plugging them in piggy back style to the PBox loom and plugging the PBox loom onto each of the injectors. Two leads direct to the battery (+ & -) and then plug the PBox onto the new loom. Thats it - Job done!

I have contacted Rossiters and asked if they sell 'Grin Remover!'

Don't wait for the future - its already here!

    Thanks for your comments lost-sole,

The kit for the V6 from diagnostix is £239 as quoted by them. Very easy to connect and has some adjustment on it. Won't knock it sounds a good system.

My personal choice was to go for the PBox as this only involved changes with the way the injectors open and close. The CDTI common rail runs the fuel pressure very high as standard, thats how it is designed, to increase the pressure on the system to get more power was something I was not prepared to do. By using the PBox I felt that I was going to get the power increase by putting extra stress on fewer components.

I'm not saying you are wrong or that I am right, at the end of the day you pays your money and makes your choice.

To everyone else out there - the choice is YOURS
