Default Time to change the vecy-Suggestions welcome

its time to get rid of my 1.9cdti vectra, its far too unrealiable and im loosing interest in it

I've owned it since new march 2007 and had endless warranty work

    2x Egr
    1x CAT
    2xturbo/manifold
    1xhand break assembly
    1xboost sensor
1xClutch/DMF only had it on 2000 miles and its going again already???????
And now have a pipe from cat-egr on order???

Done 54k and cant afford parts when its out of warranty (well i refuse to pay)

I would like a Diesel again, convertable if possible, and just have toys like dual climate, xeneons etc

    Thinking of

    Saab 9-3 convertable in white)
Audi A4 convertable in white (A5 too expensive i think)
BMW 1 series convertable in white

Possibly new Merc C-class in gun mental grey??

Any other ideas or suggestions i'm willing to spend £20-£23k, BUt remember im only 24 so remember insurance prices plays a big roll for me (no suggestions about 911s etc lol)

i like my saab's, but if you've not had much luck with GM then do you want another? Audi's are ok, just a little common, and most bm drivers forget all sense of road manners behind that blue & white propellor.
Do Volvo's float your boat? D5's are dear, but damn good diesels.

Audi A4, BMW 3 or 5, Merc C or E Class or Passat..........I got my Vec as I didn't want an estate and saloons are so impractical when you have a family.......I hope I have better luck than you, seems like you have a duff one there.
How does the Vauxhall warranty work then.....how long??

going from a vectra to a convertible will annoy you, i did it every time you start driving it is like you have left a door ajar (the road noise). Metal folding roofs just don't look right with the huge boots (apart from maybe the volvo. if i had 20-30k to spend on a car i would buy a used bmw 530d. They look the nuts at the moment or a mazda 6 mps or an alfa 159.
