    Default POWDER COATING or SPRAYING?

    Hi all

    got a set of spare 17 sri alloys and want to get the refurbed not sure whether to go with a simple respray or have them powder coated.

    Advice please which is better and why?

    Power coated will look better and not show up defects. They are also stronger and will last longer

    I think powder coated looks nice, but will show up more when the kerb get a bit too close. And it depends on what the difference in cost betwen the two.

    defo powder coat the finish is a lot better

    looks like it maybe powder coating...best qoute i have had so far is £45 a wheel...is this too expensive?

    also powder coating is a lot tougher than spray

    seems to be a good price as most body shops and wheel refurb people charge about £40 per wheel
